Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a CS&A Engineer to lead civil and structural design on complex projects on a contract basis in Warrington or Westlakes. You will deliver high-quality multi-disciplinary design and provide technical leadership across teams.

This hands-on role requires mentoring junior engineers, chairing reviews, ensuring adherence to British Standards and CDM Regulations, and liaising with clients to justify technical solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Experience leading civil/structural design projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of British Standards and CDM Regulations.
Experience detailing reinforced concrete and steelwork.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver civil, structural and architectural design solutions across projects.
Lead and supervise engineering activities to meet scope, programme and budget.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.
Produce design documents and solutions per industry standards.
Chair design reviews and progress meetings; manage complex engineering tasks.
Coordinate surveys, inspections and ensure quality management compliance.
