SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team engaged in complex and critical work to support the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Performing planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Ideal candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals eager to learn and work in a team of experienced technicians. Candidates with experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures are encouraged to apply.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
