Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (London, United Kingdom, On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role requires working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending maintenance tasks, both planned and remedial
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and can multitask. Prior experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
