SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop common solutions. Work closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work that helps build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station Systems Technician Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved.
4. Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for someone hands-on, capable of multitasking, and eager to learn. The Level 4 Technician role is suitable if you have experience in a similar role or understand Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am
