SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (London, United Kingdom, On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work night shifts from Pirin Court Service Centre
