Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking, with some experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
