SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician, Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, CIS screens,
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks,
• Ensuring SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved,
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data,
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.

Who you are:

This is an entry-level role for someone hands-on, multi-tasking, and eager to learn. The Level 4 Technician role suits those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background,
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness,
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills,
• Full UK Driving Licence,
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am.
