Job summary

Mountain Healthcare is recruiting a Flexible Administrator/Crisis Worker at The Bridge Way SARC in Cumbria. You will act as the first point of contact for service users, support victims through the forensic process, and help manage patient care pathways within the centre.

This part-time role (24–36 hrs/wk) involves 12‑hour shifts 9am–9pm, UK driving, and liaising with Police, NHSE, ISVA and social services.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills and experience in a supportive or customer-focused environment.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Experience completing administrative duties and liaising with multiple agencies.
• UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
• Advanced DBS and Police vetting will be required.
• This post has a genuine occupational qualification restricting applicants to females.

Responsibilities

• 1st point of contact for service users.
• Administrative support for service users and families visiting the centre, including forensic prep.
• Assist SARC Manager with day-to-day running of the centre.
• Maintain high DNA decontamination standards between cases.
• Liaise with Police, NHSE, ISVA and Social Services regarding patient pathways.
• Advocate for service users during their time at the SARC.
• Support and coordinate with wider stakeholders within the network.
