Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a Flexible Administrator/Crisis Worker for The Bridge Way SARC in Cumbria. You will be the first point of contact for service users, preparing patients and assisting in the forensic process and evidence collection.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, confidentiality, Advanced DBS and Police vetting, and a UK driving license. You will work 24–36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, and a pro rata salary of £29,453.89.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills.
• Experience in a supportive or customer focused environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Adults.
• Knowledge and understanding of Confidentiality.
• Experience completing administrative duties.

• UK driving licence is required and access to a vehicle.
• Advanced DBS and Level 2 Police vetting will be required.

Responsibilities

• 1st point of contact for service users.
• Administration and support process for service users and their family, including preparing the patient and assisting in collecting forensic evidence.
• Assist the SARC Manager with day-to-day running of the centre.
• Maintain high standard of DNA anticontamination between forensic cases (cleaning).
• Assist patients and liaise with other agencies regarding service user pathway management.
• Assist with preparation, service user support and acting as an advocate during the time at the SARC.
• Liaise with Police, NHSE, ISVA and Social Services; be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network.
