Job summary

Mountain Healthcare is recruiting for an Administrator/Crisis Worker at the Hazlehurst Centre CSAAS SARC, West Yorkshire, with an additional site in North Yorkshire. The role combines administrative duties with crisis support for victims of sexual assault, including advocacy and forensic process assistance.

The position is full-time (40 hours), with eight-hour shifts Mon–Sat and on-call out-of-hours options. Salary £28,051.32 per annum pro rata and a driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable adults and children.
• Knowledge and understanding safeguarding children and adults.
• Knowledge and understanding confidentiality.
• Experience completing administrative duties.
• IT literacy and data handling abilities.
• Experience in data collection, Excel, reporting and data manipulation.
• Valid driving licence with access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone information and support.
• Assist in administration and management of patients and families visiting the centre, including preparing the patient and collecting forensic evidence.
• Support use of the colposcope and medical care, provide advocacy, and ensure patient-centred service.
• Ensure high standard of DNA decontamination between forensic cases.
• Liaise with other agencies regarding management of historic cases.
