Job summary

WSP is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to manage a portfolio of clients, driving timely payments and removing obstacles to cash collection across UK ledgers and international accounts where applicable.

You will build strong relationships across Finance and Operations, lead debt collection discussions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control/Accounts Receivable or related transactional accounting roles such as Accounts Payable, Cash Application or Billing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of clients' debt ledgers (UK and/or overseas) and drive timely payments.
• Build productive relationships across all levels of the business to facilitate payment.
• Dial into clients to collect payments and resolve blockers to cash collection.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to push debts to resolution via calls and debt reviews.
• Promote and embed credit policies and credit management services across the business.
