Job summary

Xeinadin in Sittingbourne is seeking a Credit Controller to support the UK credit control team in managing receivables and ensuring timely collections. This 12‑month fixed-term role covers the Southeast hub, includes processing bank transactions, and resolving client queries.

You will liaise with internal stakeholders, maintain accurate ledgers, and support audit processes while upholding strong financial controls. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven credit control experience.
• Strong understanding of credit risk management and debtor reporting.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).

Responsibilities

• Work across a high volume of client accounts to improve debtor ledger accuracy and collections.
• Allocate bank receipts to client invoices in accounting systems.
• Manage client queries and disputes, updating receivables ledger and notes.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to investigate and resolve disputes.
• Manage and process legal cases in the platform supplied by a third-party.
• Support internal and external audit processes and ensure financial controls.
