Xeinadin in Sittingbourne is seeking a Credit Controller to support the UK credit control team in managing receivables and ensuring timely collections. This 12‑month fixed-term role covers the Southeast hub, includes processing bank transactions, and resolving client queries.

You will liaise with internal stakeholders, maintain accurate ledgers, and support audit processes while upholding strong financial controls. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and a comprehensive benefits package.

Description

The Credit Controller is responsible for supporting the UK credit control team, more specifically, the Southeast hub, in managing credit control, ensuring processing of relevant bank transactions, responding to and resolving client queries and the timely collection of outstanding receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across a high volume of client accounts to improve accuracy in the debtor’s ledger and collections.
• Allocate bank receipt transactions against client invoices in our accounting systems.
• Manage client queries and disputes, updating the receivables ledger for errors in allocations and maintaining appropriate notes on actions taken and conversations held.
• Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve disputes.
• Manage and process legal cases in the platform provided by our third-party supplier.
• Support internal and external audit processes and ensuring adherence to financial controls.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in credit control.
• Strong understanding of credit risk management, debtor reporting, and financial controls.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting systems.
• Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical capability.
