Job summary

Lyreco UK and Ireland is seeking a Credit Controller at the Telford Head Office to join our Finance team. You will manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, aim to collect overdue balances and protect cash flow.

This role suits someone with credit control experience who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will collaborate with Sales and internal teams to resolve queries and minimise bad debt.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good negotiation and payment conversations.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation.
• Analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience using Excel and Word.
• Team player with proactive attitude.
• CICM qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and collect overdue balances.
• Make outbound contact with customers and work toward targets and KPIs.
• Build relationships with customers and address payment issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service or account queries.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity.
• Support the Sales team in effective account management.
• Help minimise bad debt and improve collection performance.
