Propel Consult is seeking a Credit Controller to join a growing finance team in Corby. The role covers credit control, sales ledger administration, and customer account management to maintain strong cash flow.

You will manage a high-volume ledger, communicate with customers to secure payment, and support invoicing and reconciliations in a collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Managing a high-volume customer ledger.
• Pursuing outstanding debt via telephone and email to ensure prompt payment and healthy cash flow.
• Processing daily cash allocations and performing account reconciliations to maintain ledger integrity.
• Investigating and resolving customer queries, payment disputes, and discrepancies promptly.
• Producing customer statements, aged debt reports, and detailed credit control information.
• Conducting credit checks and administering new account applications per policies.
• Managing daily invoicing activities, including consolidated billing and portal submissions.

We're delighted to be recruiting a Credit Controller on behalf of a growing and successful business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Finance team in a varied role where you'll take responsibility for a substantial customer ledger, helping to maintain strong cash flow whilst building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. This Credit Controller vacancy offers a broad mix of credit control, sales ledger administration and customer account management responsibilities within a busy and collaborative environment.

• £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week
• Office-based position
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Duties and responsibilities

• Managing a high-volume customer ledger
• Proactively pursuing outstanding debt via telephone and email, ensuring prompt payment and maintaining strong cash flow performance
• Processing daily cash allocations and performing accurate account reconciliations to maintain ledger integrity
• Investigating and resolving customer queries, payment disputes, and account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
• Producing customer statements, aged debt reports, and detailed credit control information to support effective debtor management
• Conducting credit checks and administering new account applications in line with company credit policies
• Managing daily invoicing activities, including consolidated billing and invoice submissions through customer portals
