Confidential in Castleford is seeking a Credit Controller to join a busy team on a Temp-to-Perm basis. The role focuses on building relationships with customers, ensuring timely debt collection, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve queries.

Initial office-based work with potential future flexibility. Applicants should have at least two years of B2B credit control experience, strong communication skills, and solid MS Excel proficiency; Sage 200 knowledge is essential.

Job description

This national property company with offices in Castleford are seeking to appoint a Credit Controller to join their busy team on a temp to perm basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with customers through regular contact via telephone and email
• Ensure timely collection of all debts owed by customers
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate query resolution
• Administrative tasks as required, for example but not exhaustive: Post all receipts on to Sage, complete expected receipt sheet, maintain payment received sheet etc

This Temp to Perm opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is available immediately and can commit to this long-term opportunity. Initially fully office based, there may be some flexibility once this role becomes permanent.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum two years B2 B credit control experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong MS Office skills in particular Excel
• Sage 200 knowledge
• Previous use of Credit Reference agencies
• GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English
• ICM - desirable
