Job summary

Lucy Walker Recruitment Limited are assisting a national property company with offices in Castleford to appoint a Credit Controller on a temp-to-perm basis. The role focuses on reducing debt through proactive telephone and email contact and ensuring the ledger is up to date.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of B2B credit control experience, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and good Excel and Sage 200 knowledge. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years B2B credit control experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong MS Office skills in particular Excel
• Sage 200 knowledge
• Previous use of Credit Reference agencies
• GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English
• ICM - desirable

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with customers through regular contact via telephone and email
• Ensure timely collection of all debts owed by customers
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate query resolution
• Administrative tasks as required, for example but not exhaustive: Post all receipts on to Sage, complete expected receipt sheet, maintain payment received sheet etc
