Fuller’s The Red Lion Barnes is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring high standards and exceptional food. You’ll work with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and bring creativity to menus while guiding a passionate kitchen team.

You will embrace Fuller’s values, contribute to continuous improvement, and help deliver warm hospitality in a vibrant pub setting. Training and induction are provided, with opportunities to advance within the Fuller’s family.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualifications and strict food safety awareness are essential.
• Ability to prepare fresh food from seasonal, local ingredients.
• Creative Sous Chef with ideas to develop new dishes.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen when Head Chef is away.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistent services.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety across shifts.
• Contribute ideas for new dishes and menus.
• Ensure pride in every service and smooth operation.
