Job summary

Fuller’s Bat & Ball in Hampshire is seeking a sous chef to act as deputy to the Head Chef, taking full control of the kitchen during their absence. You will craft fresh dishes from seasonal, local ingredients and lead a motivated kitchen team.

You will bring creativity, strong food knowledge, and a relentless focus on hygiene and safety to every service, while supporting the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a pub setting.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification and strong knowledge of food safety.
• Ability to lead kitchen when Head Chef is away.
• Experience in preparing fresh seasonal dishes.

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy to the Head Chef, taking full control of the kitchen when they are away.
• Ensure fresh, seasonal ingredients are prepared with care.
