Job summary

Young's is seeking a Sous Chef to join our welcoming pub team. You will lead a hands-on kitchen, develop menus alongside the Head Chef, and contribute to daily specials while delivering quality food in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a kitchen team.
• Hands-on chef with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the kitchen team and rota.
• Ensure food quality and consistency across service.
• Work with Head Chef on menu design and daily specials.
• Maintain strong health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Manage GP and labour controls with planned, organised approach.
• Communicate clearly with team to deliver excellent service.
