Job summary

The Education Specialists are seeking a flexible Cover Supervisor to provide classroom cover in a well-regarded secondary school in Crewe. This is a full-time, long-term posting across KS3 and KS4, with a strong behaviour policy and supportive leadership.

Deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupil wellbeing. DBS check required; QTS/QTS-equivalent preferred. Competitive weekly PAYE and ongoing consultant support are provided.

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons and provide effective classroom cover.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

The Education Specialists is seeking a flexible and confident Cover Supervisor to provide general classroom cover in a well-regarded secondary school in Crewe, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, providing classroom cover across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Cover Supervisor looking for a consistent role in Crewe.

Cover Supervisor role requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons and provide effective classroom cover
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different classroom environments
• Strong communication and organisational skillsCommitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists
