Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Salford seeks a confident Cover Supervisor to deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, while effectively managing behaviour and keeping students engaged in the absence of their regular teacher.

The role is full-time and long-term temporary, supporting classes across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will create a positive and productive classroom environment and adapt to a range of subjects with professional conduct.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Salford who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education for students across KS3 and KS4 and is looking for a confident individual who can create a positive and productive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term temporary basis, supporting classes across KS3 and KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned work, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task in the absence of their usual teacher.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary school students or young people
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A confident and adaptable approach
• A positive, professional attitude
