Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Manchester is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to lead classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. You’ll support students with their work, manage behaviour effectively, complete registers, and provide clear handover information to teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools
• Confident in managing classrooms and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed to supporting young people’s learning and development
• Able to provide suitable references, hold Enhanced DBS, and have Right to Work in the UK

£500 - £600 per week (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and the Role

Vision for Education are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary school settings.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for leading classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. You’ll support students with their work, manage behaviour effectively, complete registers, and provide clear handover information to teaching staff.

To be considered for this Cover Supervisor role, you must:

• Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools
