Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Cover Supervisor in Stockport (SK7) to support KS3 and KS4 students. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher and maintaining order to keep pupils engaged in learning.

It is a full-time position with an ASAP start, on-site working pattern. The ideal candidate will have previous UK secondary school experience, strong behaviour management, and excellent communication skills.

Do you have experience working in UK secondary schools and supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?

Are you confident managing a classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment?

Are you an adaptable Cover Supervisor who can confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Stockport that is looking to appoint a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor. The school provides a supportive learning environment for KS3 and KS4 students and is looking for someone who can positively engage pupils while maintaining high standards of behaviour.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time basis with an ASAP start. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-planned work in the absence of the class teacher, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working in a UK secondary school
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and positive approach to supporting students
