Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to join a Good-rated mainstream secondary school in Manchester. You will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, deliver work set by teaching staff and maintain student engagement.

This is a full-time, long-term temporary role starting ASAP, with daily pay between £120 and £180. You will benefit from ongoing support, CPD certificates and TeacherActive's dedicated onboarding team.

Cover Supervisor

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor with experience working in UK secondary schools?

Do you have strong classroom management skills and the confidence to support students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?

Are you looking for a full-time, long-term Cover Supervisor role in a Good-rated mainstream secondary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Manchester that has been rated ‘Good’. The school provides a positive learning environment for students across KS3 and KS4 and is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to join their team.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term temporary basis, starting ASAP. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, deliver work that has been set by teaching staff, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working in a UK secondary school
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Confidence supervising classes and delivering pre-set work
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and positive approach to supporting students
