Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is working with a mainstream Secondary School in Telford to recruit a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements and flexible day-to-day work. The role involves supervising classes, delivering pre-planned lessons, and maintaining high standards of student engagement across the secondary age range.

The successful candidate will have experience with young people, strong classroom management, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
