TeacherActive Limited is working with a secondary school in the NG4 area of Nottingham seeking a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. You will supervise KS3/KS4 classes, deliver pre-planned lessons and help maintain orderly behaviour while keeping students engaged.

SEND experience is highly desirable and the school has an in-house SEND provision. The role starts on a day-to-day basis with potential for a long-term position.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in the NG4 area of Nottingham who are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. The school has an in-house SEND provision, providing additional support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities alongside their mainstream education.

The Cover Supervisor will initially work on a day-to-day basis, with the possibility of securing a long-term position. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain positive classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning, with previous SEND experience being highly desirable.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant degree or Level 3 qualification is desirable
• Previous experience working with young people in a secondary school setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A confident, patient and adaptable approach to supporting students
