Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Hucknall. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and maintain a focused learning environment to keep students engaged throughout the day.

The role is full-time and long-term, starting immediately, on-site at NG15 6AJ. Competitive daily rate (£95–£120) and ongoing CPD support are provided.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable.
• Experience in a secondary school environment.
• Proven experience of effective classroom management and managing challenging behaviour.
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 / KS4

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Hucknall, who are looking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor. The school requires a confident and resilient individual who can manage challenging behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations within the classroom.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, managing classroom behaviour, maintaining a focused learning environment and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
• Previous experience working in a secondary school environment
• Proven experience of effective classroom management and managing challenging behaviour
• Confidence in supervising classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A resilient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting students
