Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Gedling, Nottingham. You will supervise KS3/KS4 classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining engagement.

Ideal candidates have strong behaviour management, confident leadership of groups, and a proactive, professional approach. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required; flexible long-term opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence in leading groups of students independently.
• A flexible, proactive and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's education.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

The Role Will Include:
