Job summary

Evri is seeking a Courier Training and Onboarding Specialist to join the Final Mile team in Barnsley. You will onboard new couriers, allocate work, monitor scanning, and ensure compliance to keep parcels moving smoothly.

Working on-site, you’ll resolve issues quickly, use Service Tracker for escalations, and provide daily feedback to improve performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused operation, this role is for you.

Qualifications

• A current UK driving licence.
• Understanding of the self-employed courier model.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new couriers and allocate work efficiently.
• Monitor parcel scanning and courier readiness with compliance oversight.
• Address local issues (late couriers, delays, missing parcels) before escalation.
• Use Service Tracker to raise timely escalations when needed.
• Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
• Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
