JOB TITLE: Countryside Ranger and Caretaker

Pay rate: £15.40 per hour PAYE
Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 2 to 3 months
Working Arrangement: On site only

Role

On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Countryside Ranger to undertake practical land management tasks for recreation and conservation, as part of site maintenance. You will have keyholder duties to unlock/secure country park toilets, barriers and visitor facilities and be able to work a daytime shift pattern of 5 days out of 7 and able to work every other weekend (plus working a daytime 9am to 5pm with 36-minute lunch break i.e. 37 hours a week).

Responsibilities
  • Undertake practical land management tasks for recreation and conservation as part of site maintenance.
  • Operate as keyholder to unlock/secure country park toilets, barriers and visitor facilities.
  • Maintain a daytime shift pattern of 5 days out of 7 and work every other weekend.
  • Follow a working day from 9:00 to 17:00 with a 36-minute lunch break (37 hours per week).
