Overview

As the Corporate Affairs Sustainability Manager, you'll be the key communications and engagement lead for our Sustainability team. You'll develop and deliver integrated external affairs, public affairs, and communications plans to support The Crown Estate's sustainability objectives, including net zero and social impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement best-practice communications and stakeholder engagement plans for sustainability, net zero, and social impact.
  • Design and deliver stakeholder engagement events with industry leaders, government, and statutory bodies.
  • Support leadership at key events and conferences, leveraging media and external opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of sustainability reports and collateral.
  • Advise the Chief Sustainability Officer on external positioning and opportunities.
  • Develop a unified sustainability narrative and messaging architecture.
  • Monitor policy developments and support advocacy plans.
  • Work with government relations and policy teams to shape sustainability dialogues.
  • Support the development of policy briefs, consultation responses, and advocacy materials.
  • Identify opportunities for participation in industry forums and policy discussions.
  • Gather insights from stakeholders to inform engagement and communications strategies.
  • Support internal communications to embed sustainability across the organisation.
  • Champion digital platforms and collaborate with the Digital Team to reach key audiences.
