Job summary

Dex partners with a leading algorithmic market maker in digital assets to hire for a Core Development role. You will work closely with traders, C++ low-latency developers, and researchers to design, ship, and iterate live trading tools, feature stores, and real-time pipelines.

The work emphasises Python development, SQL databases, and Linux-based environments to support the trading desk in monitoring exposure and managing live positions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional Python experience in production code.
• Relational SQL databases knowledge and Linux environment familiarity.
• Ability to collaborate with traders, researchers and operations.
• Interest in algorithmic trading and digital asset markets.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, normalise, and route high-throughput data into internal real-time systems.
• Build and scale reconciliation engines for sub-second updates and risk alerts.
• Develop trading GUIs and tooling used daily by the trading desk.
• Design storage and retrieval systems for machine learning feature pipelines.
• Architect automated settlement and clearing workflows for transactions.
