Job summary

Radley James, based in London, seeks a Core Python Developer to join a compact, high-impact engineering team supporting trading, operations and quantitative research. You will process large volumes of trading data, evolve real-time reconciliation, build internal GUIs, and contribute to automated settlement pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years Python experience, strong SQL, Linux comfort, and an interest in crypto trading tech.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge, ideally with PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working within Linux environments.
• Curiosity about crypto, market structure, or trading technology.
• Experience with C++ is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing systems that process and expose trading data from a wide range of exchanges
• Enhancing reconciliation, reporting, and alerting tools that run in real time
• Building internal GUIs and trader-facing applications used for monitoring and decision-making
• Contributing to automated settlement workflows for OTC trading partners
• Supporting and improving data platforms used for quantitative research and ML pipelines
