Job summary

DRW is seeking a software engineer in London to join the Front Office Systems team. You will own trading tools for Cumberland and FICC desks, delivering scalable production systems and collaborating with traders to turn alpha signals into reliable software.

Required are strong C++/Python skills, up to 7 years of experience, and a track record working with customers in fast-moving environments. The role emphasizes on-call responsibilities and cross-language development.

Qualifications

• Up to 7 years of experience using C++ and Python, across multiple languages.
• Track record of working directly with end customers and delivering production systems.
• Ability to dive deep into complex problems and minimize complexity.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Experience in the financial markets, especially delta one/FICC options trading.
• Experience with Linux-based, low-latency software systems.
• Degree in CS/Math/Stats/Physics/Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with trading tools for Cumberland and FICC options desks.
• Own products from prototype to production.
• Embed with trading desks to model problems and build solutions.
• Build, maintain, and extend the central trading platform.
• Work across multiple languages including C++, Python, and TypeScript.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
