Job summary

Oxford Knight in London seeks a senior software engineer to own projects across the stack, from low-level code to high-performance trading systems. You will work closely with traders and deliver production-quality software from day one.

The role is hands-on with real impact on daily workflows, offering flexible roadmaps and a supportive environment. Strong C/C++ and Python skills, plus finance exposure, are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Expert-level experience programming in C / C++11/17/20/23 and Python.
• Previous finance experience, or other significant hands-on development.
• Ability to juggle a lot of priorities and continuously deliver.
• Interest in finance / machine learning / big data and/or robotics are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects and write production code from day one.
• Work hands-on alongside traders to implement impactful features for daily work.
• Contribute to high-performance trading infrastructure and internal tooling.
• Plan and drive roadmaps with flexibility in work arrangements.
