Job summary

Dex partners with leading algorithmic market makers to connect you with premier engineering leadership. You will own architecture decisions across client portals, live trading products, and internal tooling, guiding technical roadmaps and mentoring engineers.

You will design resilient, low-latency streaming systems where performance impacts execution, while building scalable, secure platforms trusted by high-volume markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role owning architecture decisions.
• Proven design and shipping of data-intensive, real-time systems such as trading dashboards or live market feeds.
• Deep fluency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with backend depth in Go or Python and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the ultimate technical authority for client and internal trading platforms, owning architectural direction from design to production.
• Design and scale real-time, low-latency streaming architectures handling large data volumes, feeds, and execution interfaces.
• Co-own the technical roadmap with product and trading leadership while balancing feature velocity and reliability.
• Establish engineering standards across code review, CI/CD, incident response, CDN distribution, and authn/authz security.
• Mentor, hire, and set the performance bar for a team of full-stack, frontend, and backend engineers.
