Job summary

G2 Legal Limited in Middlesbrough is seeking a Conveyancing Team Leader to head a Residential Property department. The role offers £42,000-£55,000 plus a bonus scheme, with DOE, and an opportunity to develop and manage a small team.

You will supervise a varied conveyancing caseload (sales, purchases, remortgages, new builds, lease extensions, buy-to-let) and drive client service, billing and BD efforts while maintaining a high standard of legal work.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with strong conveyancing experience (around 8+ years PQE).
• Experience supervising or managing a small team is preferred.
• Ability to handle a varied caseload independently while maintaining quality client service.

Are you a qualified and experienced Conveyancer that would embrace the opportunity to lead a passionate Residential Property department?

A well-respected Middlesbrough based law firm is looking for a Conveyancing Team Leader to join its Residential Property department.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or CILEX professional who enjoys running their own caseload but is also confident supervising others and helping drive the performance of a busy conveyancing team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing a varied conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, remortgages, new builds, lease extensions and buy-to-let
• Supervising, supporting and developing a small conveyancing team
• Allocating work and ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client service
• Supporting the department with billing, compliance, client relationships and business development

The ideal Candidate will be:

• A Qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional
• Have around 8+ years' PQE in conveyancing, although there may be flexibility for the right person
• Previous experience supervising or managing a small team
• Confidence managing a varied caseload independently
• Commercial Property experience would be advantageous but isn't essential
