Lets Recruit Limited is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer to join our residential team in Middlesbrough. You will manage your own caseload, handling a full range of transactions from sales and purchases to remortgages and Help to Buy.

We value client care and growth; you may also support business development and the team’s expansion, with potential involvement in commercial work. Competitive salary plus bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ PQE.
• Proven experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Comfortable dealing with a broad range of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Strong client care skills and a genuine commitment to delivering a high‑quality service.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own varied caseload across the full range of residential property transactions.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new builds, Help to Buy, lease extensions and buy‑to‑let matters.
• Provide high‑quality, proactive advice and maintain excellent client care throughout each transaction.
• Work towards maintaining CQS accreditation and ensure standards are followed.
• Build strong relationships with clients and referrers to generate new business.
• Support the growth and development of the residential conveyancing team.
• Potentially get involved in commercial property work; experience is advantageous but not essential.

Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer – Middlesbrough – Competitive Salary + Bonus

Are you an experienced residential conveyancer looking for a role where you can take ownership of your caseload while playing a genuine part in growing a successful team?

We’re looking for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ PQE to join an established residential conveyancing team in Middlesbrough. This is an opportunity to work with a strong local client base, handle a varied caseload and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing your own varied caseload across the full range of residential property transactions
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new builds, Help to Buy, lease extensions and buy-to-let matters
• Providing high-quality, proactive advice and maintaining excellent standards of client care throughout each transaction
• Working towards the continued maintenance of CQS accreditation, ensuring the necessary standards and processes are consistently followed
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing a service that encourages repeat business and recommendations
• Developing relationships with estate agents, brokers and other professional referrers to generate new business
• Supporting the wider growth and development of the residential conveyancing team
• Potentially getting involved in commercial property work, with freehold and leasehold commercial experience being advantageous but not essential
