Job summary

Habito by Monzo is seeking a Post-Completion Expert/Legal Support to join our conveyancing team. You will own the post-completion process, ensuring legal and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time, collaborating with conveyancers, clients, lenders and HM Land Registry.

The role demands adaptability, focus, and composure under pressure, with opportunities to develop processes and take ownership of tasks. Prior experience in residential property or legal work is a bonus.

• Excellent communication with clients, colleagues and third parties.

• Residential property or legal work experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-completion process after property completion with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with conveyancers, clients, lenders and HM Land Registry.
• Submit Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and payments within deadlines.
• Register with HM Land Registry and liaise to escalate when needed.
• Process post-completion accounts and clear balances before archiving.
• Sort and allocate conveyancing mail and retrieve archived files when required.
• Support the Fee Earner and archive files both paper and electronic.
• Proofread all work before passing to Fee Earner.
