Job summary

Habito is seeking an experienced Property Lawyer / Conveyancer to join our in-house conveyancing practice. You will manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and developments, while collaborating with internal teams to streamline processes.

You will be English law qualified, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients, lenders and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently, proactively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Experience in residential property transactions and ability to support in-house conveyancing.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Experience with re-mortgages, new-build developments and Help to Buy schemes.
• Act for lenders as well as clients; provide feedback to tech teams on process improvements.
• Manage own caseload and collaborate with the team to deliver results against deadlines.
• Desirable but not required: commercial property experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continually improve the customer proposition.
