Job summary

Fame Recruitment is seeking a Post-Completions Assistant for a well-established law firm in North West London. The role focuses on post-completion work within Conveyancing, with opportunities to develop expertise in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of conveyancing experience, a legal qualification, strong administrative skills, and experience with legal case management software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' conveyancing experience with post-completion work.
• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Experience using legal case management systems and other legal software.

Responsibilities

• Submit SDLT returns and AP1 applications.
• Prepare and finalise Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications.
• Manage post-completion formalities and close completed files.
• Schedule deeds and reconcile accounts.
• Handle discharge of registered charges.
• Conduct legal research and produce reports and updates.
• Manage own workload with minimal supervision.
