Our client is a leading provider of generator solutions, dedicated to delivering top-quality power products and services to their clients. They are now looking for a Controls Sales Engineer to join their team to support the growth of the business. They are open to candidates in any location within the UK. Successful candidates will be responsible for researching and identifying opportunities within the Control Panels/PLC System/Fuel Control Systems market, including BMS/PMS/SCADA and automation process controls.

Controls Sales Engineer Job Overview

1. Conduct market research to identify potential new markets.
2. Schedule customer visits, promote the company, and generate interest in the services offered.
3. Produce quotations for new and existing business opportunities.
4. Provide weekly call visit reports.
5. Deliver monthly quotation reports with forecasts of expected orders.
6. Collaborate with the team to improve marketing strategies and enhance company services across various market sectors.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the full sales lifecycle.
• Experience in winning new business and developing key accounts in the Power Generation market, preferably with Diesel Generators and related systems.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills for face-to-face interactions.
• Willing to travel across the UK as required.
• Available to travel to the Colchester branch once a month.
• Hold a full driving license.

Salary & Benefits

• Expected hours: 40 per week.
• Company vehicle provided.
• Holiday package: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays paid. Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per year after the first year, up to a maximum of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
