DHL in Enfield is seeking a Transport Controller to manage daily transport operations on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on vehicle utilisation, scheduling, and communication with drivers and hospital wards as applicable.

The salary is £35,100 with a grade O, and the pattern is Monday to Friday. You will ensure journeys align with contractual requirements, optimise road resources, and contribute to DHL's supply chain excellence.

Qualifications

• Scheduling experience is essential for coordinating transport operations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, wards and clients.
• Experience handling administrative tasks efficiently.
• PTS experience is desirable for rail-related permissions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate vehicle utilisation to maximise uptime and minimize downtime.
• Communicate with DHL transport teams, wards/units and drivers.
• Track journeys to ensure on-time completion and resource efficiency.

A typical day may involve:

• To ensure patient journeys are carried out in line with the contractual requirements
• To ensure all DHL vehicles are fully utilised, with minimum down time through effective tracking & communication
• To communicate effectively with DHL transport, Hospital wards/units and Drivers
• Track vehicles to ensure journeys are being made successfully and resources are being fully utilised
