Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Transport Shift Manager to lead our on-shift transport operations and drive KPI performance. You will manage a dynamic team, optimise resources and ensure safety and SOP adherence on a busy site.

The role requires FLM/Shift Manager Transport experience, Paragon usage, and strong IT skills with MS Office. You will coach First Line Managers and push continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• FLM/Shift Manager Transport Experience is essential.
• Experience with Paragon.
• IT Literate, With Microsoft Office Packages, Excel.
• Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship.
• Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance, resource and workload planning on shift to achieve agreed KPI's on productivity, quality and cost
• Personally develop and drive continuous improvement activities and ensure that all change programmes are fully embedded.
• Support, develop and performance manage the First Line Management team to drive a high performance culture
• Ensure that SOP's, SSOW and company policies and processes are being adhered to at all times
• Achievement of KPI's on productivity, quality and cost providing commentary and improvement plans where KPI's are not achieved
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with Trade Union or other colleague representation bodies

Pay Rate: £38,000 to £42,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Grade: M

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4on4off, 6am to 6pm, nights on occasions (6pm to 6am from time to time)
