Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Stoke on Trent is seeking a Transport Planner to help deliver efficient and cost-effective network transport plans. You will create routes, allocate vehicles and driver resources to meet planning deadlines.

A typical day includes maintaining KPIs and SLAs, liaising with stores, building relationships through customer service, and ensuring SOPs are followed. Experience in transport planning and proficiency in Excel are essential; Paragon is desirable.

• Transport planning experience is required or desired.
• Experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer literacy, including Excel.
• Experience using Paragon is desirable.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally.

Pay Rate: £30,237
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, Rotating, 0600 - 1400, 0700 - 1500 & 1300 - 2100.
Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4

• Maintain KPI's and SLA's.
• Liaise with Stores on a regular basis.
• Build Relationships through Customer Service.
• Customer contact point and communications.
• Ensure that work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed and check lists adhered to.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Transport planning experience desired.
• Transport experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment is essential.
