Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Enfield is seeking a Transport Controller to join our logistics team in EN3 4NQ. You will help ensure journeys comply with contractual requirements, optimise vehicle utilisation and communicate with DHL transport, drivers and hospital units.

The role requires scheduling experience, good communication skills, and experience dealing with customers. PTS is desirable, and we offer pension contributions, GP access, and various employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure journeys are carried out in line with contractual requirements.
• Maximise DHL vehicle utilisation and minimise downtime through tracking and communication.
• Communicate effectively with DHL transport, wards/units and drivers.
• Track vehicles to ensure journeys are made and resources are fully utilised.

• To ensure patient journeys are carried out in line with the contractual requirements
• To ensure all DHL vehicles are fully utilised, with minimum down time through effective tracking & communication
• To communicate effectively with DHL transport, Hospital wards/units and Drivers
• Track vehicles to ensure journeys are being made successfully and resources are being fully utilised
