Overview

Role- Control Systems Engineer

Salary- £35,000- £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for)

Type- Permanent

Location- Reading

Requirements

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• 2 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls role ideally
• Be confident carrying out the programming of control systems from scratch – i Siemens TIA, Beckhoff TwinCAT
• Have excellent hands on electrical engineering skills
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
• Full Driving Licence

Responsibilities

The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:

• Programming PLC’s from scratch
• Being involved in full project lifecycle
• Taking solutions from concept right through to commissioning
• Delivering projects on time and within budget
• Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
• Travelling to customer sites as required for commissioning activities
• Creating the required documentation
• Providing remote technical support
