Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the UK is hiring for a CCTV/Fire Control Room Operative at our Broughton site.

The role features a 4 on 4 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, averaging around 42 hours per week, and involves emergency call handling, CCTV monitoring and incident investigations. You will work within a Security Operations Centre environment, with opportunities for training and development and the potential to obtain higher security clearance.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• SIA CCTV licence – desirable.
• 1–2 years in a Security Operations Centre / Control Room – desirable.
• Willing to obtain higher security clearance.
• UK Driving Licence (no endorsements).
• Flexibility for days, nights and weekends.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team.
• Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to produce logs and routine reports.
• Good organisational and customer service skills.
• Confidence, professionalism and integrity.

  The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history


• A valid SIA CCTV licence - (desirable)


• 1-2 years' experience working within a Security Operations Centre / Control Room environment - (desirable)


• The ability and willingness to obtain a high level of security clearance


• Current UK Driving License (no endorsements)


• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends, including occasional short-notice operational requirements


• Excellent computer skills


• The ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team


• Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures


• The ability to produce accurate logs, reports and routine correspondence


• Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills


• Confidence, professionalism and absolute integrity at all times
