Job summary

Northern Security is seeking a Control and Scheduling Manager to own the central monitoring and control function from our Carlisle site. The role leads the Control Room, plans shifts for 200+ officers, and drives continuous improvement across Operations.

The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient operation, oversee incident responses, and contribute to service growth and contract development. This is a permanent, full-time position based on site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading control room teams and coordinating 24/7 operations.
• Strong scheduling and workforce planning capabilities for large teams.
• Proven ability to analyse operational data and drive improvements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Control Room operators.
• Manage rotas for 200+ security officers and optimise scheduling.
• Coordinate incident responses and liaison with emergency services.
• Develop SOPs and drive continuous improvement in the Control Room.
